Canadian doctors are opposing the entry of refugee doctors as inmigrants despite the fact that there is a serious shortage of medical men in the Dominion, it was stated in official circles today. The same circles emphasized that Canada was losing the services of many valuable professionals because lawyers and nurses are adopting the same attitude.

They pointed out that on the other side of the ledger was the example set by the unions in the needle trades which are urging the government to admit more tailors. At the same time the unions have convinced the employers’ associations to aid the campaign.
