The Canadian Hadassah drive for members will be continued until January 15, it was decided at a meeting of the national council of the organization held here recently.
Mrs. A. J. Freiman, of Ottawa, national president of the Hadassah Organization of Canada, presided. Mrs. M. Rady of Winnipeg, vice-president of Canadian Hadassah and chairman of the membership campaign committee, was among those present.
The campaign is directed by Mrs. Freiman and Mrs. Rady. One of the members enrolled during the period of the drive will be chosen to visit Palestine as the guest of the organization.
During the few months that the campaign has been in progress many new members have been added to the Hadassah rolls and many new chapters organized. In such cities as Montreal, Winnipeg, St. John, Sydney, Kingston, Toronto, Ottawa, Kamsack, Melville, the drive has made fine headway, it was declared.
