Canadian Hadassah, women’s Zionist organization, which has not held a convention since 1932, will hold its eighth convention in Toronto on January 22, it was announced here today.
The gathering takes on added significance this year because of the drive now under way to raise $50,000 in honor of the birthday of Mrs. A. J. Freiman, president of the organization for Hadassah work in Palestine.
The opening session of the convention will take place January 21 at the Royal York Hotel, immediately after the close of the two-day convention of the Zionist Organization of Canada.
