Delegates to the 23rd annual Ontario conference of the Israel Histadrut Campaign and the United Organizations for Histadrut protested to the Austrian Government today against the recent acquittal by an Austrian court of Franz Novak, the Eichmann aide charged with responsibility in the mass murder of 400,000 Jews. The resolution on the Novak acquittal was delivered to the Austrian Embassy in Ottawa. The delegates also commended the Canadian Government for recently introducing anti-hate legislation into the Canadian Parliament.
