The Canadian-Israel Chamber of Commerce has announced plans for a committee to aid Canadian and Israeli authorities for maximum gains to Israel from its participation in the 1967 Montreal World Fair.
The committee will be assisted by Valmore Gratton, head of the economic planning bureau of the City of Montreal, a top aid in Montreal World Fair planning. Sam Steinberg, president of Steinberg’s, Ltd., assured Mr. Gratton that the Chamber would do everything it could to aid the planners of the fair.
A luncheon of the Chamber, at which the plans to aid Israel participation in the Montreal fair were discussed, heard some members of the recent Canadian Government mission of 14 manufacturers and businessmen to Israel.
