The Canadian Jewish Congress today announced that its research director Louis Rosenberg will write a History of the Jewish Communities in Canada, 1891-1959. This book, the first to cover the more recent period of Canadian Jewish history, will be one of the major publications in honor of the Bicentenary of Canadian Jewry which is being commemorated this year.
