The Canadian Jewish Congress and B’nai B’rith have expressed “indignation and protest” to the West German Ambassador to Canada over plans of the extremist National Democratic Party to hold a political rally at the site of the Dachau death camp. The Joint Community Relations Committee of the two Canadian Jewish organizations said that Ambassador Joachim Ritter immediately cabled the protest to the federal government in Bonn. The rally plans were announced last month by the NPD for some time before the Sept. 28 West German elections.
