Relief supplies for the Jewish communities in free European countries/were sent from here last week by the United Jewish Refugee Amergencies, an affiliate of the Canadian Jewish Congress, according to an announcement today by Saul Hayes, national executive director.
Seventy-five cases of relief supplies were sent to the Jews in Poland. Another shipment of 120 cases/was sent to Delgium and a third shipment is destined for the Jews of Yugoslavia. These shipments form part of the $1,500,000 relief program undertaken by the Canadian Jewish Congress.
