Giving a mock Fascist salute today in the course of a debate in Parliament on Fascism, Justice Minister Ernest Lapointe caustically remarked: “The first Jew the Canadian Fascists will deal with when in power will be Ernest Lapointe.” He declared Canada was in “no danger of Fascism, we have the situation well in hand.”
