The authorities today arrested five leaders of the National Unity Party, Canadian Nazi organization, and issued warrants for the arrest of three others, including Adrien Arcand, head of the party. The action was taken under sections of the Defense of Canada Act forbidding statements tending to create a disaffection or prejudice the prosecution of the war.
