With streaming headlines, it lauded the recent pogroms in Germany and appeale to its readers advocating the boycotting of Jews and attempting to provoke open violence by creating the impression that the Jews massacred millions of Christians in Russia.
The dearborn independent and other antisemitic organs are quoted by the lacroix to show that the Jews already possess thirty six million dollars worth of real estate in Montreal which has a market value of fifty million dollars, despite the fact that Jews have been in Montreal only twenty five years.
