A weekly publication in this city has stepped up its anti-Semitic activity by printing the ancient canard, “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” the Canadian Jewish Chronicle declared today. An article in the Chronicle called for unity in the Jewish community, so that legal action might be taken against further dissemination of the anti-Semitic propaganda. The article proposed that all ethnic groups, comprising about 30 per cent of the electorate in this area, be mobilized to aid the fight against hate-mongering.
