Strong condemnation of British Foreign Secretary Ernest Bevin’s program for/Palestine was voiced here by an emergency meeting of the United/Zionist Council of Canada, representing all Zionist parties.
A resolution/approved by the meeting stated that the appointment of another/ commission of inquiry will only serve to delay the solution of the vexing Jewish problem, and that slight concessions which allow a trickle of Jewish immigration are inadequate under present conditions.
