The twenty-fifth convention of the Zionist Organization of Canada, which opened this morning, is expected to adopt a resolution tomorrow calling for a Jewish State as a seventh British dominion with greater boundaries. A survey of delegates by the J.T.A. correspondent showed a distinct split on the question of partition.
A.J. Freiman, president of the Z.O.C. in an address to the 400 delegates assembled for the respective conventions of the Zionist Organization and Hadassah, stressed Palestine’s need for a firm hand and a definite declaration of policy. A political debate was held this afternoon, and the convention will close with a banquet tomorrow evening.
