Organization of the campaign of the Keren Hayesod in Canada, which will seek to raise $500,000, has been effected. The drive will be launched on March 15.
Mark Workman has been chosen Chairman. Rabbi H. Abramowitz and Lyon Cohen are Vice-Chairmen, S.Levinson, Treasurer. The other members of the Campaign Committee are: Peter Bercovitch, Nathan Gordon, Captain Sebag Montefiore, Rabbi Berger, Rabbi H. Cohen and I. Lande.
Dr. Weizmann is expected to arrive here to inaugurate the campaign.
Springfield, Mass, has exceeded its quota of $25,000 in the United Palestine Appeal by $2,000. Harry M. Ehrlich was chairman.
An appeal to the Jewish women of Greater New York to join in the United Palestine Appeal in New York for $2,500,000 was issued by the Women’s Division of the Appeal, which was recently organized under the chairmanship of Mrs. Anna Moscovitz Kross.
