Cantor Cabrham Minkowsky, brother of the late Cantor Pincus Minkowsky who died five weeks ago, died here after an illness of more than 10 months on Wednesday morning. He died without knowing of his brother’s recent demise, his critical condition preventing an acquaintance with the news of the passing of the world famous cantor.
Cantor Abraham Minkowsky, who was 55 years old, was for eight years cantor of the Shaarey Zedek Congregation of Detroit. Like his brother, Pincus, he was a composer of Jewish synagogue music.
