Cooperative for American Relief Everywhere (CARE) announced today that it will begin sending packages containing kosher fresh-frozen meats for the first time to Israel in time for the forthcoming High Holy Days. Frank L. Goffio, executive director of the organization, said that an initial shipment has already arrived in Israel this week and is being stored in freezers set up at CARE distribution points in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Haifa.
