Carrie Chapman Catt Gets American Hebrew’s Medal

Mrs. Carrie Chapman Catt, noted peace advocate, was presented with the American Hebrew medal in recognition of her work in promoting better understanding between Jews and Christians. Mrs. F. D. Roosevelt made the presentation Thursday evening in the City College auditorium. President Roosevelt, Professor Albert Einstein, Governor H. H. Lehman, Herbert Hoover and Newton D. Baker sent congratulatory messages.
