Victor Carter, the American businessman, chairman of the board of trustees of Tel Aviv University and a member of the board of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, has agreed to coordinate the efforts in the United States against the Arab boycott.
Carter has received information on the boycott collected by the Israeli Manufacturers Association which has decided to actively combat the boycott in foreign countries. Carter has met with the association’s acting chairman, Abraham Savit, on the subject. Carter was active in organizing action against the boycott by the Japanese Nissen Co. which had, under Arab pressure, refused to sell to Israel.
