Jews in Rumania will be divided into different categories for the purposes of anti-Jewish legislation, the German wireless reported today from Bucharest.
” Those who fought for Rumania in the World War or have done State and other services worthy of merit will enjoy certain privileges,” the report said. ” Curentul (Bucharest nationalist newspaper) purports to know that one of the first measures will be a law ordering Jews to adopt their original family names. The Ministry of Economics has published a list of Jewish officials who have been dismissed from service.”
