Catholic Archbishop in Britain Forms Body on Relations with Jews

John Cardinal Heenan, Archbishop of Westminster and leader of British Catholics, announced the formation in England of a national commission to implement the recent decree adopted by the Vatican Ecumenical Council aimed at better relations between the Catholic Church and the Jewish religion. He named Christopher Hollis, a well-known Catholic layman, as chairman of the commission. Mr. Hollis, a writer and journalist, and a former member of Parliament, is one of the leaders of progressive Catholicism in this country.
