Cannon College, a Catholic institution here, today announced that it has accepted an invitation to attend the World Congress for Hebrew Language and Culture which will open in Jerusalem on July 24.
The Rev. Dr. Joseph J. Wehrle, president of Cannon College, has asked Professor Abraham B. Shoulson, head of the College’s Department of Hebrew and Middle East Studies, to represent the faculty at the Hebrew Congress. The Department was only recently established at the college, but it has attracted wide attention, being the only one of its kind at a Catholic college.
