Joseph Scott, well known Los Angeles attorney, and leading Catholic layman, contributed $2,500 to the Million Dollar Campaign for the Cedars of Lebanon Hospital, (Jewish) the new $1,600,000 edifice which will be opened by the end of this month, according to J. Y. Baruh, chairman of the finance committee.
Seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars has already been raised for the building in an active campaign by the local Jewish community.
