The Catholic Daughters of America, which with its 200,000 members is the largest Catholic women’s fraternal order in, the United States, adopted a resolution yesterday urging that “the peace of the Jew become an International Anthem.” The resolution, adopted at an executive meeting of the organization’s board of directors, said: “Whereas His Late Holiness Pius X1 issued the last bulletin begging all Catholics of the universe to unite in worldwide prayer against the merciless persecution of the Jews, therefore be it resolved that we openly express our wish as Catholic daughters of America that the peace of the Jew become an International Anthem.”
