The Fiftieth Anniversary of the Jewish Students Fund at Dorpat University was celebrated today by the Jewish students of the University and the Jewish community.
The fund was a great factor in Jewish student life in Russia in view of the fact that Dorpat University was the center for Jewish academic youth barred from other Russian universities under the Czaristic regime.
The celebration of the Fiftieth anniversary of the Jewish Students Fund at Riga also took place recently.
