The Center Party has not only refused to have Jewish candidates on its lists for Parliament, but has officially notified Jewish leaders it regrets that it previously had on its lists the Volkspartei leader, Georg Kareski, former head of the Berlin Jewish Community, as the presence of the Jewish candidate definitely harmed the Party.
