Committees were set up to work out a cultural program for German Jewry and to revise statutes governing organizational structure of Jewish institutions in Germany as the Central Council of Jews of Germany went into the second day of its current meeting here. The council also elected a new six-member directorate. The new directors are:
Dr. Ewald Allschoff of Frankfurt, in the U.S. zone; Carl Katz of Bremen, in the British zone; Leonard Baer of Koblenz, in the French zone; Heinz Galinski of West Berlin; Maurice Weinberger of Munich, in the U, S, zone; and Dr.. Hendrik G, Van Dam, the council’s secretary general.
