Opening of headquarters of the representative body of Polish Jews was announced today. Dr. Kalman Stein, former member of the Cracow Municipal Council, will be director of the organization, whose seat will be in Paris.
A statement by the organization said its purpose was “to prepare the forthcoming activities of the political representatives of Polish Jewry, who will consist of representatives of all political parties of Polish Jewry, as well as delegates from principal centers to which Polish Jews have emigrated.” The office will concentrate on political and social problems and documentation, the statement said.
