The White Book containing documentary proof of Nazi terrorization of the Jews of Germany presented to President Paul Von Hindenburg last week by the Central Union of German Citizens of the Jewish Faith, was necessitated by the precarious situation, the “C.-V. Zeitung,” Central Union organ, explains today.
The party negotiations with regard to a new cabinet had reached a point where Jewish interests were highly endangered the “C.-V. Zeitung” says.
The various parties, in the course of their negotiations, displayed no interest in the possible change in the status of the Jews, since this problem interfered with higher politics, the paper says.
Had an agreement with Adolph Hitler, Nazi chieftain, been reached, the Jews of Germany would have been confronted with a danger the like of which they have never before faced, says the Central Union organ.
