Ceremonies are being held in Hungary this week to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the Budapest Ghetto. The main ceremony was held Tuesday in Budapest’s Dohany Synagogue, where Hungarian dignitaries, including Hungary’s president, prime minister and speaker of the Parliament, took part for the first time in a Jewish commemoration.
