Chaim Cohen, legal adviser to the Israel Government, today confirmed that he has agreed to accept the post of Minister of Justice to succeed Dr. Dov Joseph, who has surrendered the Justice portfolio but remains Minister for Trade and Industry.

Mr. Cohen, who left for London, emphasized that the nomination was not yet official and said that Prime Minister David Ben Gurion would make an announcement on Cabinet changes next week. Mr. Cohen’s visit to London is in connection with the delay in signing an agreement between the Israel Government and the Palestine Potash Company.
