The Zionist Pioneer Center in Italy announced its dissolution over the week-end, explaining that all Israel-bound Chalutzim in Italy had already left for the Jewish state. Founded in 1945 with the aid of the Jewish Brigade, the Center at one time represented 7,000 Chalutzim living in 80 Kibbutzim throughout Italy.
