Recent changes in the organization of Israel’s armored forces were demonstrated yesterday “somewhere in Israel.”
After the exercises, Col. A. Pundak revealed that the armored forces will increase their training schedules greatly during the next year. Defense Minister Pinchas Lavon, addressing the soldiers and officers who participated in the exercises, said that Israel must make up in training for “enemy” superiority in weapons.
