A gift of six Sefer Torahs was donated by the Metropolitan Jewish Geriatric Center to the Chaplain Corps of the Israeli armed forces at a ceremony at the Israeli Consulate here. The Torahs are in short supply in Israel and urgently required to conduct religious services.
