Chaplain Frank Goldenberg, who was attached to the U.S. forces in Austria, was killed in an automobile accident near Vienna last week, according to a report received here by the Jewish Welfare Board’s Army and Navy rallies activities committee.
Chaplain Goldenberg, who was 27 years old, was on leave from a Utica, N.Y., Congregation. He was graduated from City College in New York in 1940 and was ordained the Jewish Theological Seminary in 1944. He was assigned to the famous 42nd Rainbow Division.
