The only Jewish chaplain serving with the U.S. Air Force in Japan has been named a visiting professor at Sophia University in Tokyo, one of the largest Jesuit institutions in the Far East, it was reported here today. Capt. Victor M. Solomon, of Bridgeport, Conn., will teach psychology at the university’s international division. Capt. Solomon was ordained at Yeshiva University. He is currently a member of the faculty of Sacred Heart University in Bridgeport, a Jesuit institution, and is on a three year leave of absence for Air Force duty.
