Charge Jews with Sympathy for Hungary

An official organ in Slovakia recently published articles in which they accuse the Jews of Slovakia of being identified with the Hungarian irredentist activity which seeks to bring about the restoration of parts of Czecho-Slovakia to Hungary.

There is a good deal of anti-Jewish incitement going on in this connection. The Jews intend to raise the question in Parliament of the anti-Jewish attacks which are being made in the Government press.

The Women’s Federated Synagogue Organization, at its annual meeting, elected Mrs. Samuel P. Weinberg president for the enseing year. The Women’s Federated Synagogue Organization is composed of nineteen sisterhoods in Orthodox, Reform and Conservative congregations in Philadelphia.

Other officers elected were Mrs. Ferdinand Dilsheimer, Mrs. Jennie H. Miller, Mrs. Myer Solis Cohen, Mrs. Philip Berg, Mrs. A. Weiner and Mrs. M. H. Barol.
