Five agencies of the Federated Jewish Charities which participate in the annual community fund drive will have their requested budgets of $55,000 for next year cut to $42,000, it was announced today.
A similar reduction was ordered for all constituent organizations of the fund because the fund’s campaign closed with only $840,000 raised toward a goal of $1,113,247. The collections were about twenty-five per cent short of the amount sought.
