Charles Cohen, U.J.A. Founder, Dies at 63; Received Warburg Award for Communal Work

Charles Cohen, a founder and director of the United Jewish Appeal of Greater New York, died here yesterday at the age of 63. A welfare and communal worker for many years, Cohen served on the executive committee of the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies of New York and recently received the Felix M. Warburg Memorial Award for 25 years of service to the Federation and the community.
