Charles A. Riegelman, Jewish communal leader and former president of the National Refugee Service (now in the United Service for New Americans), died during the week-end at the age of 71. He was a founder of the United Jewish Appeal and was active in numerous Jewish philanthropic programs, particularly those dealing with aid to refugees.
