Charles S. Meyerson, honorary president of the Greater New York Taxpayers’ Association, died on Saturday night at the age of 60. He was a founder of the Congregation Shaari Zedek in Henry Street. Services were held Sunday at its present synagogue, 212 West Ninety-third Street.
Mr. Meyerson was the organizer of the Protective and Defense Committee for tax payers. He did valuable work in 1907 in helping settlement strikes on the lower east side. He was a member of the Grand Street Boys’ Association.
