The Charles Steinberg Clinic of the Leo N. Levi Memorial Hospital, maintained at Hot Springs by the Independent Order B’nai B’rith, was dedicated yesterday. The clinic was erected in memory of Charles Steinberg of St. Louis, by his son, Louis Steinberg, of St. Louis.
The formal dedication was preceded by a banquet Saturday evening at the Eastman Hotel. Dr. Nathan Krass of Temple Emanu-El, New York, was the principal speaker. Rabbi A. B. Rhine, executive secretary of the Levi Memorial Hospital, was the toastmaster. At the dedication, addresses were delivered by Archibald A. Marx of New Orleans, president of the Levi Memorial Hospital Association, Judge A. B. Frey of St. Louis and Dr. Krass. The sum of $10,000 was subscribed to the hospital at the dinner.
