Efforts to obtain a charter for a Hebrew college in New York are being made by the Herzliah Hebrew Institute, which now comprises a teachers seminary, a high school and a preparatory school, Jacob H. Cohen, president of the board of trustees, announced at a press conference today.
Mr. Cohen stated that the institute is planning to launch a campaign to raise $250,000 this year for an expansion program aimed at doubling its present educational facilities. The registration at the institute at present is 432.
