A fire which broke out in the Jewish quarter of Cherbourg last night resulted in losses to many Jewish business men. Many Jewish business houses were destroyed. Sir:
I have received the Index to the “Jewish Daily Bulletin” for 1925 and am thoroughly pleased with it. It certainly adds to the value of the paper and makes it very serviceable. It will be an inducement to subscribers to the “Bulletin” to preserve the daily issues and bind them at the end of the year.
Many thanks for your work and wishing greater success to the “Jewish Daily Bulletin” for 1927.
RABBI JOSEPH SILNERMAN New York, Feb. 8, 1927
