A special memorial prayer, printed in pamphlet form, is being sent to all temples throughout the United States and Canada by the Chicago Committee for the Defense of Human Rights Against Nazism, to be recited during the memorial service on the day of Yom Kippur. It is a prayer for the persecuted in Germany.
“The reason for economic pressure against Nazi goods and Nazi steamships is made all the more imperative by recent developments,” Salmon O. Levinson, chairman of the Chicago Committee, says in a statement on the back page of the pamphlet.
