The annual meeting of the Community Council of Jewish Charities was held tonight at the Standard Club. The meeting was followed by a symposium on “Hitler versus Civilization.” Dr. Paul Hutchinson represented religion. Dr. Julius Michelson, for forty-two years of of Germany’s leading scientists who was forced to flee to America represented science, and Professor Robert Morss Lovett represented the humanities.
