A new six story building of the Chicago Jewish Federation was opened here, with Governor William G. Stratton of Illinois as one of the principal speakers at the dedication ceremony. The building houses the offices of the Combined Jewish Appeal of Chicago, the Jewish Welfare Fund, and three of Federations affiliated agencies.
