Simon Dubnow, noted historian, will be honored Sunday night on the occasion of his 70th birthday by a meeting at the Hotel Sherman under the auspices of the cultural committee of the Zionist Organization of Chicago. Rabbi Solomon Goldman, of Temple Anshe Ameth, will be chairman. Dr. Leo L. Honor will talk on “Dubnow as an Historian”; Dr. A. Levinson, “Dubnow’s Contribution to History of Hassidism”; Dr. Meyer Waxman, “Dubnow’s Influence on Contemporary Jewish Thought”, and Rabbi Felix A. Levy on “Dubnow’s Theory of Nationalism.”
