A regional office of PATWA (Professional and Technical Workers Aliyah) has been opened in Chicago to assist American professionals and technicians from middle western states who are interested in working in Israel, it was announced today at PATWA headquarters in New York.
The new office will provide the latest information on job opportunities in a variety of fields in Israel and will advise applicants on general living conditions in that country. The Chicago office, located at 220 South State Street, is under the direction of Yehuda Levine, former associate director of the Anglo-Saxon section of the Jewish Agency’s Absorption Department in Israel.
