The new $500,000 Isaiah Temple, of which Dr. Joseph B. Stoltz is rabbi, will be dedicated September 12, 13 and 14.
The new Temple, located at Hyde Park Boulevard and Greenwood Ave., is one of the finest buildings of its kind in the United States. The style of architecture is Byzantine. It was designed by architect Alfred S. Alschuler.
Dr. Stoltz is the life long rabbi of the congregation.
On the night of September 12, Dr. Samuel Goldenson, Pittsburg, will preach. On the morning of the 13th, Rabbi Louis Wolsey, Cleveland and Rabbi James G. Heller, Cincinnati, will be special speakers.
On the evening of the 14th, a fellowship meeting will be held with Rabbi Stoltz as chairman. Professor James H. Tufts, University of Chicago, will be the principal speaker. Others who will take part will be: Rev. Theodoren Soares, Hyde Park Presbyterian Church, Rabbi Louis Mann of the Jewish Sinai Temple and Rabbi Gershon Levi.
